Recently, the inter-ministerial joint conference on illegal fund collection was held in Beijing in 2018.

 

The meeting held that the current high rate of illegal fund-raising has been curbed, but the total number of cases remains high. Cases are concentrated in the eastern coastal areas and the population of large populations in the central and western regions, such as financial and Internet finance, wholesale and retail, real estate, and agricultural cooperation organizations. The risks in other key areas are outstanding, and the methods and means of illegal fund-raising are continuously refurbished. The situation is still grave.

 

The meeting stressed that all localities and relevant departments must do a good job of preventing and disposing of illegal fund-raising, preventing and controlling financial risks, rectifying financial order, reducing inventory risks, and curbing incremental risks.

 

For the key work in 2018, the meeting put forward: First, strengthen the implementation of responsibilities. The second is to further strengthen the system construction. The third is to promote the proper disposal of risks. The fourth is to strengthen monitoring and early warning. The fifth is to increase propaganda.
