In recent years, more and more large-scale and large-scale exhibitions have been held in Nanjing. Recently, the Nanjing Municipal Government promulgated the “Opinions on Promoting Reform, Innovation, and Construction of Convention and Exhibition Brands”, and Nanjing will build a new layout of the city’s MICE industry with “one nuclear and three regions”. By 2020, it will focus on creating seven convention and exhibition brands with certain international influence.

According to the implementation opinions, the new layout of Nanjing's convention and exhibition industry is "one nuclear and three areas." One of the cores refers to the core area of the exhibition economy of the city center, which is the exhibition center of the city center such as the Nanjing International Expo Center and the Nanjing International Exhibition Center.

By 2020, Nanjing will focus on building 7 convention and exhibition brands with certain international influence, and 15-20 exhibitions with large regional influence. Actively develop exhibitions featuring intelligent manufacturing, new electronic information, internet of things, software and information technology, new energy, cultural creativity and design services, and pharmaceutical research and development products and services. Among them, bigger and stronger world intelligent manufacturing conference, China (Nanjing) International Software Products and Information Service Trade Fair, China Nanjing Golden Autumn Economic and Trade Fair and other key exhibitions, to create Asia Outdoor Products Exhibition, Asian Bicycle Exhibition and other growth exhibitions. In the next three years, we will further enhance the international level and core competitiveness of the Nanjing convention and exhibition industry, and strive to build Nanjing into a famous exhibition and exhibition city that is “leading domestically and internationally renowned”.
